As defined by EMA, Pharmacovigilance is the science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other medicine-related problem.

Our Team

Case Processing Team

The team comprises of experts in pharmacovigilance, who have industry recognised life sciences qualifications of B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, PharmD etc, and hands-on experience of regulatory authority approved and validated safety databases. The associates have excellent experience in sourcing the cases, triaging them, data entry into the data base, quality check, line listing generation and submission of documents to the health authorities. The experts are adequately trained on the SOPs of PVMantra as well as client SOPs

Medical Department

The team comprises of medically qualified experts who are well versed with evaluation of cases by applying the knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of all moieties of drug compounds, comparing drugs of same class, verifying entries using MedDRA coding, authoring or finalising aggregate reports, risk management plans, risk evaluation and minimization strategies, clinical overview reports and performing thoroughly scientific signal detection and management. Our team can handle queries from the health authorities and from QPPVs.
